ABSTRACT:
In this paper an experimental setup for determination of temperature dependency of induction –motor parameters has been described. H-G diagram principal has been used to identify the equivalent circuit parameters, especially the rotor parameters. Experiment has been carried out on a 2KW induction motor, providing an encouraging validation of the theory. The process should be refined and can be utilized for on-line temperature monitoring of a 3-phase induction motor.
